Overview
Bella Donna is a premium organic brand rooted in sustainability, quality, and tradition. Based in Abidjan, it offers a curated selection of artisanal goods, from free-range cheeses and handcrafted breads to organic honey, each product reflecting a deep respect for nature and local craftsmanship. The brand exists at the intersection of refined taste and responsible living, celebrating organic excellence through thoughtful design and storytelling.

Challenge
The goal was to develop a visual identity that felt both elegant and grounded, translating Bella Donna’s values of purity, heritage, and sustainability into a cohesive brand world. The challenge lay in striking the balance between artisanal warmth and premium positioning, creating a design system that could resonate across packaging, retail, and digital platforms.

Approach
We crafted a brand identity inspired by the quiet luxury of organic living. The logo design evokes timeless simplicity, paired with a soft, earthy color palette and botanical accents that nod to the earth-first philosophy. Packaging was designed to feel both honest and refined, featuring tactile materials, delicate typographic systems, and minimal compositions that let the product speak for itself.

Through this design approach, Bella Donna becomes more than just a label; it’s an invitation to slow down, savor, and connect with the origins of what we consume ethically, beautifully, and with care.

A Taste of the Land

Visual Identity & Packaging

Bella Donna’s visual identity is rooted in the richness of the earth, warm, grounding, and quietly luxurious. The brand’s color palette, drawn from nature’s pantry, layers tones like Deep Burgundy, Burnished Gold, Honey Dust, and Deep Forest Green with soft neutrals to evoke both organic warmth and premium refinement.

Graphic elements include finely engraved, vector-based landscape backdrops—designed to add texture and a sense of place. These visual etchings, paired with refined dividers and linework, build a composition that feels timeless and cultivated.

Packaging design follows the same philosophy: minimal, intentional, and sensory. From foil-stamped labels to rich textures and tactility, every detail speaks to Bella Donna’s values, elevating the everyday act of nourishment into a refined, mindful ritual.

Sustainably Crafted, Elegantly Packaged

Bella Donna’s in-store presence was designed to reflect its artisanal ethos and eco-conscious values. The packaging uses sustainable materials—recyclable paperboard, compostable labels, and natural inks—offering a tactile, refined experience that aligns with the brand’s ethical roots. The initial rollout focused on curated grocers and specialty markets, with thoughtful merchandising and storytelling that bring the brand’s organic philosophy to life.
