Overview
Hyperbolic is a fashion and accessories brand based in Abidjan, blending hype culture with curated style. Known for reselling exclusive sneakers and designer apparel while also releasing original merch drops, Hyperbolic brings global streetwear energy into a local, digital-first experience.
Challenge
The task was to craft a visual identity that matched the bold, fast-moving world of hype fashion, one that could balance resale credibility with an original voice. It needed to resonate with a trend-savvy audience, work across social content, packaging, and merchandise, and remain instantly recognizable.
Approach
The identity draws on the rhythm of streetwear, minimal but charged with attitude. A modular brand system was developed to scale from product to platform, using bold typography, digital-native layouts, and social-first compositions. Graphic elements reflect movement, energy, and cultural crossover, allowing the brand to remain dynamic while maintaining visual coherence.
Geometry Meets Identity
The Idea Behind the Logo Design
At the center of Hyperbolic’s identity is a clean, confident wordmark, designed for versatility and impact. The secondary logo introduces a stylized, circular icon inspired by the shape of a hyperbola, creating a symbolic and geometric reference to the brand’s name. This mark adapts across formats: acting as a standalone symbol, integrated as the “O” in the wordmark, or stacked in vertical compositions. The result is a logo system that feels elevated and effortless, built for both screen and street.
