OVERVIEW
Clinique MED (Maison Esthétique Dentaire) is a modern dental clinic located in Abidjan’s vibrant Zone 4. Focused on aesthetic and family dentistry, it offers personalized care through a multidisciplinary team. The brand needed to reflect a new generation of dental care, where precision meets warmth, and expertise is delivered in a calm, luxurious and design-forward environment.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to craft a cohesive identity that translated seamlessly across every touchpoint, from branding and interiors to digital platforms. Beyond visual appeal, the goal was to reframe the experience of dental care itself. Research and surveys revealed that many patients associated dentistry with anxiety and often prioritized aesthetics over dental health. We needed to shift that perception, making treatment feel less clinical and more like a refined, reassuring experience. The design had to balance professionalism with warmth, creating a space that felt elevated, approachable, and above all, welcoming.
APPROACH
Created a cohesive identity that balances clinical precision with a sense of warmth. A clean, minimal logo anchors the system, supported by a refined color palette, deep green for trust, vibrant orange for contrast and vitality. This visual language extends into the interior design, where soft textures and natural light create a calming, contemporary space. From branding to spatial layout and digital presence, every detail was crafted to feel intentional, clear, and welcoming.
A Mark of Precision and Aesthetic Care
The Logo of Clinique MED
The logo for Clinique MED was designed to express the dual nature of the practice: medical expertise and aesthetic precision. At its core is the anagram M.E.D, a clever abbreviation for Maison Esthétique Dentaire, while also echoing the universal shorthand for medical care. This dual meaning reflects the clinic’s multidisciplinary approach, combining clinical dental services with high-end aesthetic treatments.
Above the anagram sits a minimal, abstract icon derived from the simplified shape of a tooth, rendered in clean, geometric lines to convey clarity, confidence, and trust. Below, the full name and descriptor reinforce the clinic’s identity in both French and professional dental contexts. The secondary logo reduces the mark to just “M.E.D.,” ideal for compact and digital applications, while the tertiary mark distills the brand even further into the icon alone, offering flexibility across signage, digital assets, and print. Altogether, the system is modern, meaningful, and unmistakably medical, with a soft, aesthetic edge.

The website for Clinique MED was designed as a key touchpoint in the clinic’s digital presence, serving not only as an information hub, but also as a first impression for potential patients. The goal was to create a sleek, intuitive platform that reflects the clinic’s elevated standard of care while remaining accessible and user-friendly. Clear pathways guide visitors to learn about treatments, find the clinic’s location, and reach out directly to book appointments.
Informed by user research and client surveys, the site prioritizes clarity and human connection. Most patients preferred speaking with someone directly, so emphasis was placed on contact prompts that encourage phone calls and personal interaction, mirroring the bespoke, high-touch experience that defines the clinic. With a clean layout, soft design cues, and seamless mobile responsiveness, the site supports both the clinic’s reputation and its growth in a competitive, digitally driven market.
Design That Performs
Interior & Real-World Impact
The interior design of Clinique MED played a central role in shaping the patient journey. The space conveys both serenity and professionalism, with gentle lighting, and fluid spatial planning contributing to a warm, elevated atmosphere that feels more like a wellness space than a traditional dental clinic.
To enhance wayfinding and spatial clarity, elegant vinyl signage was applied beside doorways throughout the clinic, using refined typography to guide patients intuitively through treatment rooms and service zones, while reinforcing the visual identity.
This thoughtful environment has translated into real-world results. The clinic has successfully attracted its target audience, including political figures and professional athletes, who value both the aesthetic and medical quality of care. The brand has been praised for its cohesion across touchpoints, from interiors to digital presence. Web and social engagement have grown significantly, with measurable increases in appointment conversions, proving that design can shape not just experience, but performance.
